Tell us a little something about your business...
I owned successful public relations agency for 25 years and I am now a partner in WOOTTEN & SOMMERS, a boutique speaking, writing, and marketing agency. I specialize in content creation for marketing and media relations and script writing for presentations and videos. My partner, Anne Wootten, and I offer workshops, courses, boot camps, retreats, and coaching. We are committed to supporting our clients by providing them with the evidence-based strategies and tools they need to perorm on any platform, create dynamic content, network successfully, and generate revenue.
When was your lightbulb moment?
I met Anne Wootten three years ago at a networking event. After many meetings and discussions, we agreed that we could combine our extensive backgrounds in entrepreneurship and successful careers in theatre, choreography, writing, and speaking into an exciting venture for entrepeneurs at all stages of development. Since we started our business, we have successfully worked with women entrepreneurs of all ages, from first time to seasoned business owners.
What are your three words of advice?
Passion: As an entrepreneur, you must bring this to everything you do.
Innovation: Take risks and celebrate your successes, large and small.
Collaboration: Find the best partners to build and sustain your business.
