I am a self-taught artist and photographer who was selected by Art Tour International as one of the Top 60 Masters of Contemporary Art for 2014 -2020, one of their Top 20 Fine Art Photographers for 2017, one of their Artist of the Decade, and an ARTYA Award recipient! Tell us a little something about your business...
I have an online Art and Photography Gallery which I originally started in 2012 with 5 of my works. Since then I’ve continued trying to improve my techniques and adding my works to my gallery. In November of 2020 my gallery surpassed 1 million visitors!
My gallery is extremely varied and contains… realistic portrait drawings (often combined with my photographs for backgrounds), digital abstracts, caricatures, animal photography, pro wrestling photography, landscape photography, and more…
When was your lightbulb moment?
It was actually a very long journey that eventually led to my art starting to show the improvement I was looking for and then shortly after Viviana Puello and ArtTour International came along a whole bunch of lightbulbs came on! Things switched from wanting to just be able to create a much more realistic portrait or capturing a crystal clear action photo to also being able to tell a life story that hopefully inspires or educates others in a positive way.
What are your three words of advice?
Try different things. As we get older we realize how fast time passes by. Since we have only life to live don’t look back with regrets thinking “I should have tried that but…” and learn from our failures.
