Tell us a little something about your business...

I built my business out of lived experience and a deep desire to help others find their way. I’m a mother to five now-adult children. The eldest came into my life when he was eighteen, and not long after, I found myself parenting him through a devastating battle with alcohol addiction, rooted in complex mental health challenges. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever faced.

That chapter changed me. I returned to school, became certified as a parent coach, and in 2016, began walking alongside other parents navigating the stormy years of adolescence. Over time, my practice evolved into a focused specialization: supporting parents of emerging adults (ages 18 to 30) who are struggling with mental health issues, substance use, or simply feeling lost in place.

Today, I work entirely online with families around the world. The work is intimate and transformative. Watching parents rebuild trust with their children, while learning to set firm, loving boundaries, it’s not just meaningful. It’s why I do what I do.

When was your lightbulb moment?

My lightbulb moment came when I realized I had become the coach I once desperately needed, the one I searched for in the darkest days of my son’s addiction and mental health crisis in his early twenties. I entered this work with intention. I wanted to offer parents the support I didn’t have in 2008, to help them show up before they found themselves in the kind of crisis I did.

When I began sharing my personal parenting story on TikTok in 2021, I didn’t expect it to resonate so deeply. But parents of 18+ year-olds kept reaching out, asking for guidance, many of them scared, exhausted, and out of options. That’s when I saw it clearly: most parents don’t seek help for themselves until something breaks. And yet, doing this work, choosing to look inward and grow while your child is still struggling, is one of the bravest things a parent can do. Because how we show up as parents doesn’t just matter. It can change everything.

What are your three words of advice?

Authenticity – it is the essence of building trust in your business. I cannot not walk my talk.
Resilience – in order to do what you love and create a lucrative career you have to be willing to get up over and over again, obstacles are always going to be there.
Exceed Expectations – Take that little extra step in everything you do!
