Tell us a little something about your business...
My partner, Susan Sommers and I created our company Wootten & Sommers to help our clients learn to write content for their business platforms, which is Susan’s specialty, and I work with them on presentation skills to polish performances, both in person and online. Now that every business has had to pivot to the online community, we are presenting workshops and seminars online too. We conduct workshops for both men and women, together or separately to suit the client.
When was your lightbulb moment?
The recent and defining Lightbulb Moment was when Susan and I decided to join forces to create Wootten & Sommers. Each of us bring different but complementary career skills to the table. We have similar business instincts, and Susan’s expertise in writing content and my background in coaching presentation skills proved to be a great match.
What are your three words of advice?
Passion – we only get one pass at this life, so bring your passion to everything you do.
Adapt – be curious, and willing to adapt.
Sense of Humour – is the glue that holds us all together.
