Tell us a little something about your business...
I’ve been in the storm — the meltdowns, the sleepless nights, the moments you quietly think, I can’t keep doing this. My turning point came when I realized the real magic wasn’t in a perfect plan — it was in connection. When a child feels truly seen, heard, and safe, everything changes. That truth became my mission. Now, through my books, speaking, and programs like REAL Peaceful Parenting other REAL keynotes and Snuggle Bunny Story Time, I help parents, educators, and caregivers move from chaos to calm — and remember that hope was never gone… Relationships & Resilience — because trust and the ability to bounce back are the foundation for growth.
Engagement & Empowerment — because when people feel seen, heard, and capable, they step into their potential.
Attitude & Autonomy — because how you show up and the freedom to choose your path shape your future.
Lifelong Learning & Life — because learning never stops, and living fully is the point of it all. These pairs are the core of my Let’s Get REAL programs, giving parents, caregivers, teachers, and children the skills to communicate better, resolve conflict, and create peace in every environment.
When was your lightbulb moment?
My lightbulb moment happened at home, after years of searching for help for our son, hitting dead ends, begging for support we couldn’t find, and feeling utterly alone. Three months before graduation, he dropped out of high school. It was too late to save our son, but not too late to make sure no other family feels that same heartbreak. That’s why I created the Let’s Get REAL programs — giving parents, caregivers, teachers, and children tips, tools, and techniques to improve communication, resolve conflict, and restore peace in the home, school, community, and even the boardroom.
What are your three words of advice?
Listen · Speak · Thrive
Listen — because understanding starts with truly hearing what’s said — and what’s not.
Speak — because voices matter, and using yours with clarity and compassion can change the outcome.
Thrive — because the goal isn’t just to “get through” life, but to grow, succeed, and live it fully.
These three words are at the core of how I help parents, educators, and children build stronger connections, resolve conflict, and create spaces where everyone can flourish.
