Tell us a little something about your business...
For over 20 years, I was an award-winning national and international journalist and TV News Correspondent who has travelled the world and interviewed with a large cross-section of people from presidents and prime ministers to Nelson Mandela and Celine Dion.
As a published author, writer and businesswoman, I run a communications and personal branding company called The Success Story Programâ„¢.
Since October 2018 I have been writing a popular weekly blog called Woman of a Certain Age in Paris where, as a lifelong francophile, I explore my love affair with this beautiful city and with France, and beyond, as well as my interest in the subjects of feminism, feminity, and agism.
As part of that endeavor, I am using my professional interviewing skills to create the GLOBAL WOMEN of INTEREST SERIES, where I showcase the most extraordinary women on the planet from best-selling authors, to renowned chefs, TV show hosts, artists, actors, and key influencers.
When was your lightbulb moment?
The day that I realized that I wanted to tell inspiring stories, instead of report the news. I had had a remarkable career but that was the turning point when I decided to start my own business and empower people to tell their stories.
What are your three words of advice?
Dream — I get my best ideas by allowing myself to dream about what I want and want to do.
Reinvent — We have so many sides to ourselves and reinvention keeps me inspired and relevant.
Believe — Even on those tough days I just told myself I can do it.
Three words of advice...
Dream, Invent, Believe
