Tell us a little something about your business...
For the past 14 years, Teletek Structures has been a trusted partner to many Communication Service Providers, Tower Owners, and Contractors. Teletek Structures is a boutique engineering firm specializing in Telecommunication infrastructure. I am excited about our goals to expand and grow. I love PROBLEM SOLVING … this is one of my strengths, that combined with my sheer determination set me up for where I am today. There is an excitement when I approach a project, the thrill of finding a solution!
When was your lightbulb moment?
During the early years of my career, I had the tremendous opportunity to work in the USA for a few years for a Telecommunications tower company. My role was to help establish a new engineering department within this tower company. This opportunity allowed me to look at the industry from the perspective of the tower owner and give me a valued viewpoint from another angle within the industry. And that is exciting! This “light bulb moment” got me really excited to think about the telecommunications industry…This industry is fast paced, and ever evolving. Think about: the release of the first Blackberry which combined the phone and the PDA was a sign of what was to come and more of what could be possible. I loved the fact that I could truly see people being connected across the globe, with their cell phone. How would you feel if you lost your cell phone?
What are your three words of advice?
Don’t give up! Some days will be harder than other, stay strong and believe in yourself!
