I’ve talked about going into interior design for years. When I was younger my parents would leave the house only to return with the furniture rearranged and artwork moved around. I’ve always been drawing to the arts and seeing spaces and the potential in a space has always come very second nature to me. Naturally I decided to abandon my artistic inclination and go to school for business. After a few years of working in offices I realized something was missing from my life, so I started pursuing my diploma of interior design while working full time. I enjoy focusing on both residential and commercial as each situation lends itself to different creative solutions. I focus primarily decorating and creating design concepts and sourcing all items to embody that design concept. Holistic Design Solutions offers a variety of solutions including materials selection for renovation planning to layout and visual merchandizing planning for a retail display. Of late we’ve spent a lot of time focusing on small spaces and how to optimize storage and make smaller spaces feel spacious and inviting.
