Tell us a little something about your business...
As the founder of a nonprofit agency which I operated for 16 years and co-founder and COO of The Gill Law Firm, I decided to combine my passion for leadership and entrepreneurship with my love of community and serving others into a brand of leadership called Purpose Centered Leadership. Using the vehicle of Sharon Gill International, I work with individuals, corporations, nonprofits and ministries to take their leadership to a new level. Purpose Centered Leadership encourages organizations and teams to think outside the 4 walls and align themselves with causes in their sphere of influence.
When was your lightbulb moment?
My desire to transition from the brick and mortar business model to an online/flexible model started in 2015. I was mentoring and coaching women in startups in both the nonprofit and for profit worlds, and felt I needed more flexibility to expand my offerings to include already established organizations.
What are your three words of advice?
If you are not growing, either as an individual or company, then you are slowly dying. You simply must keep on developing yourself or your organization.
