Tell us a little something about your business...
Grow at Your Pace is a boutique online learning platform. It provides access to professionals who are experts in personal or professional growth. They post their courses and will be available to answer questions four times a year. I’m pleased to provide this online support for people ready to learn and grow. For 20 years I’ve seen myself as “a wheel, easing others forward”.
When was your lightbulb moment?
I pivoted my own speaker series to present online events due to social distancing and experienced the thrill of supporting people near and far. But when I created my own online courses, I couldn’t find a platform to bring experts together with interested learners. I knew what I needed to do! Create a new platform to make it happen.
What are your three words of advice?
Be Brave & Grow
For the first 37 years of my life, I didn’t feel or act brave. Then my big brother died of a heart attack at 50 years of age. He was my hero and had always been brave. His death made me look at what I’d like to achieve, if I only had 13 years left. I decided to be brave. I started taking risks, safely. I have had so many wonderful experiences. I’ve been a writer, speaker and mentor to entrepreneurs and grew a charity to the national level. Be Brave and Grow!
