Tell us a little something about your business...

Microshift is where perseverance meets personal transformation.

I work one-on-one with high-achieving men—entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals between 30 and 60—who have built success but still feel like something’s missing. These are men who carry pressure quietly. Who’ve hit a plateau after years of winning. Who are wrestling with self-doubt, burnout, or the quiet ache of wondering, “Is this it?”

I don’t offer a one-size-fits-all program or motivational fluff. I offer real, strategic coaching rooted in lived experience. I’ve been through addiction, homelessness, failure—and I’ve rebuilt my life from the inside out. Today, I help other men do the same.

My private 1:1 coaching is high-touch, confidential, and customized. It’s designed for those who are ready to get honest, do the work, and reclaim clarity, purpose, and momentum. I don’t promise easy. I promise you won’t do it alone.

That’s one part of Microshift.

The other is my work as a speaker—sharing stories that move, challenge, and inspire. I speak on perseverance, leadership, resilience, and human potential. My message reaches anyone who’s felt stuck, overlooked, or underestimated—and still chose to rise. I’ve shared that message on national television and most recently, on stage at MIT.

Whether I’m working with one client in a coaching session or addressing thousands from a stage, the mission is the same: to help people see that no matter what they’ve faced, transformation is still possible.

Because sometimes, one microshift—one conversation—changes everything.

When was your lightbulb moment?

My lightbulb moment came at **midnight on Valentine’s Day, 2005**, in the back of a police car outside a homeless shelter.

I was 21. Addicted. Homeless. Out of options. As the officer walked me to the door of the Rescue Mission, I wasn’t thinking about transformation—I was just cold, exhausted, and ashamed. But then a man named Frank looked me in the eye and asked, *“What are you doing with your life that you ended up here at 21 years old?”*

That one question cut through every excuse I’d ever made. It forced me to see the truth: I wasn’t just unlucky—I was lost. And if I wanted a different future, I had to start telling the truth about my present.

That night was the beginning of everything. Not a quick fix or overnight change—but a decision to fight. To rebuild. To keep going when it would’ve been easier to give up.

That moment still fuels everything I do—because I know what it means to hit bottom and find a spark. And now, whether I’m coaching one-on-one or speaking from a stage, my mission is to help others find theirs.

Because sometimes, the moment your life falls apart is the same moment it finally begins.

What are your three words of advice?

Three Words of Advice: Keep. Showing. Up.

Because it’s not always the boldest, fastest, or smartest person who makes it—it’s the one who refuses to quit.

These words matter to me because I’ve lived them. I’ve woken up in jail cells, slept in my car, and stared down versions of myself I never thought I’d come back from. And every time, the only way forward was to keep showing up—to the next hard conversation, the next decision, the next step I didn’t feel ready for.

Success didn’t happen all at once. Healing didn’t either. But transformation began the moment I stopped waiting for permission and started showing up for my own life—even when it was messy. Especially when it was hard.

That’s the message I bring into my coaching and my speaking. Because no matter what you’ve been through, if you keep showing up—honestly, consistently, imperfectly—you’ll get somewhere worth going.

Three words of advice...

Keep Showing Up
