Tell us a little something about your business...
I’m a general life coach who uses thought work and EFT, emotional freedom technique, to help my clients figure out why they are stuck and then create heart centered results in their lives. I share the tools and resources that helped me change my own life with my clients so that they can let go of the limiting beliefs that keep them small. Then, we create new beliefs that allow them to realize their true potential and transform themselves and their lives.
When was your lightbulb moment?
Towards the end of my marriage, I was struck with the realization that there was no room for my best self in the relationship. I had spent the past year trying to fit a square peg into a round hole and it just wasn’t possible. That’s when I knew that I had to face all of my fears about standing on my own two feet so that I could take care of myself and my children.
What are your three words of advice?
Love yourself. It’s only two but it’s everything. We spend so much time telling ourselves that we’re messing up or getting it wrong. We think that will motivate us to do better. Instead we fuel the fight or flight response and keep ourselves stuck. When we can really love ourselves, exactly as we are, messy and imperfect, that is when everything changes.
