Tell us a little something about your business...
I don’t have a business per se, but I offer my skills as a graphic artist and project manager. Currently, and since 2017, I have been working within the publishing industry. I started out as a freelance writer on a 3 month contract, but after only 1 week, they offered me a permanent position and soon I began to work as a project manager. At the beginning, I started with small contracts and within the months that followed, I found myself in charge of larger clients, managing several other projects. I have been able to show my skills not only as a graphic designer, but also as a technician. In 3 years, I have had the opportunity to learn, expand my knowledge and build confidenc. Now, I am often called upon to help and mentor my colleagues. Another thing that I particularly enjoy is being in charge of a project from A to Z. That includes meeting with the client to discuss what they are looking for, realize their vision, create the layout and take their dream to print. I find my work is very rewarding and even more so when the customer is happy.
When was your lightbulb moment?
At University when I realized that I wanted to manage projects and work as a team to create beauty.
