Tell us a little something about your business...

Our business is about connecting our clients to their customers through the power of storytelling. We leverage technology, tools and resources to create something from ideas and inspiration. We also do that in the unique fashion of becoming a whole project picture not just an island or silo approach, we care about the whole picture. When the purpose of story, product, or business connects to a customer AND we can strategically think about how to make that work for our client to continue to grow their business we’re helping them achieve success. This is what we care about – them succeeding, which means we did our work well – and with integrity. Our call to provide services came from the dedication to creating something of quality and value for our customers and doing it uniquely as a team that can service customers all across North America.

When was your lightbulb moment?

When working with a new client we would hear, I need to change something but I can’t do it, I can’t access it or I don’t know how. Our light bulb moment was while our clients are asking for help sometimes they can’t even get access to their own properties to make changes. Marketing as an industry is not regulated the same, no standard rates, fees, or services are not apples to apples and you never truly know who owns what. Our moment came when it was something we could unlock for our clients, show them how to do it on their own and help them feel empowered to either do their own marketing or continue to do it with us – either way, that choice and freedom has to be theirs. Our relationships are built on trust and honesty which also means serving the client where they are at with a focus on where they are growing…. not just going but yes growing.

What are your three words of advice?

My 3 words of advice would be: Intentional, Honest, Flexible
Be intentional, whether you realize it or not your choices (or lack thereof) create an intention. The best step is to create this intention mindfully as you walk out into the world, not fearful, but mindfully intentional.
Be honest, it’s better to be true about something to the best of your ability. While not brutally honest, the kind type of honest, does it NEED to be said and if so be honest about things with yourself, your team and your customers/clients. It guides us through so many things just to be real about any situation.
Lastly, be flexible, it’s really hard to evolve and change as an entrepreneur if you’re not willing to be flexible. Your world will continuously change and you’ll need to be flexible with it’s direction. This also applies to being flexible about things like if it has to be YOUR idea, or YOUR way, or even if it’s what you THOUGHT it might be like. Be flexible in accepting what your pathway looks like for success and growth.
