Tell us a little something about your business...
For more than 40 years, Anthea Mumby worked in and owned a family business. She took the crash course in becoming the succession plan for her parents, worked with her spouse for over 23 years.
As President, she achieved one of the best client retention results in the insurance industry, grew the family insurance brokerage revenues over 10 times since joining, and managed key relationships with several professional associations across Canada.
She successfully sold her family owned insurance brokerage in October 2020 after achieving the business Vision.
​Since selling her business, Anthea has become a consultant specializing in 6 figure family owned businesses with teams of 3 to 20 staff. She has also built a Dream Team of entrepreneurs who help family owned businesses to achieve more prosperity.
When was your lightbulb moment?
Realizing that creating and sharing the Vision for my business would be one of the best decisions I made. By getting clear, and then sharing it with others, I had created a Vision that allowed my business to thrive, even through major disruptions. And, the execution of the Vision could now be handled more effectively by our team members.
