“I’ll help you if you write your book, Leanne.” I looked down at my hands as they held each other tightly on my lap. If I write my book. I’d been talking about writing this book, but talking and doing are two different things. There are already books like this published, so what’s the point? What if it’s too hard? What if I prove to myself and everyone that I’m a failure? Fear was holding me back. Was I going to write this book? I was being offered help by an expert. I breathed into my heart and imagined myself writing my book. I could feel my heart expand, as if this was what it wanted. I looked up at the sun shining between the trees and smiled.My heart knew better than my head. I decided to write my book.
