At JPOM, we are passionate about empowering entrepreneurs from underserved populations to build and scale their businesses with confidence. Our mission is to provide the support, resources, and guidance needed to overcome the unique challenges faced by women, trans and gender non-conforming individuals, and those in BIPOC communities. Founded by Jessica Pegg, a seasoned operations strategist, JPOM focuses on creating streamlined systems and tight-knit teams that drive sustainable growth.
We offer a range of services designed to meet entrepreneurs where they are in their journey, from our “Start It Right” membership for those just beginning to our “Run It Right” membership for established business owners looking to refine their operations. Our approach is deeply rooted in mentorship, community building, and practical support, helping our members turn their entrepreneurial visions into reality.

When was your lightbulb moment?
It was a quiet Sunday afternoon. I sat alone at my desk, staring at my health coaching website. I had poured countless hours and dollars into it—hiring a copywriter, a web designer, integrating calendars, and linking everything to Instagram. Despite all this, something gnawed at me. Was I clinging to a mistake just because of the time and money I’d invested?
In that moment of clarity, I realized I needed to let go. With a mix of hesitation and resolve, I hit the delete button on my website. When asked, “Are you sure?” my initial reaction was doubt. But deep down, I knew it was the right decision. I clicked yes, and just like that, my health coaching website was gone.
Why did I start this journey? I wanted to be home with my kids and run my own business. Initially, I became a Beachbody coach, which led me to health and life coaching. I developed a website, a course, and various coaching programs, investing heavily with a business coach to build it all out. But one day, I had an epiphany—I didn’t actually enjoy health coaching.
What I did enjoy was the process of building an online business. Fellow health coaches frequently asked for my help in linking systems, setting up websites, and managing integrations. It came so naturally to me that it took a while to realize I could monetize this skill.
Embracing my unique strength meant letting go of health coaching and leaning into what I was truly passionate about—helping others build their businesses. Once I started offering these services, everything clicked. Clients began to pay me, referrals rolled in, and it all felt effortless.
This pivotal moment taught me the power of embracing what truly comes naturally to us.
What are your three words of advice?
“Embrace Your Journey”, In my opinion, these three words encapsulate a powerful mindset for any entrepreneur. Here’s why they matter to me:
Embrace: Entrepreneurship is filled with highs and lows, successes and failures. Embracing every part of the process means accepting and learning from each experience, which is crucial for growth and resilience.
Your: This journey is uniquely yours. Comparing yourself to others can be counterproductive. Focus on your path, your goals, and your progress. Celebrating your individual journey helps you stay true to your vision and values.
Journey: Building a business is not just about the destination but the journey itself. It’s about the lessons learned, the relationships built, and the personal and professional development that occurs along the way. Recognizing this helps maintain a sense of purpose and fulfillment, no matter where you are in your entrepreneurial path.
These words remind me to stay grounded, appreciate my unique path, and view every step as an opportunity for growth and learning.
