Meet the Speakers:

Lorenzo Capanni  is from Florence, Italy and the director of Art and Language courses at the Accademia del Giglio.
June 1995 he received a “Laurea” with Honours in Modern Languages and Literature from the University of Florence. After graduating, he started working as a teacher of Italian as a second Language in France and then again in Florence. Since 1996 he has been arranging study abroad programs as well as Art courses and seminars for for the school.  For over 12 years he has also been one of the authors for a blog dedicated to Italian language and culture.
On a personal note, Lorenzo cannot start (or end) a day without swimming.
