Apollon holds a Masters degrees in Set Design and a Bachelors Degree in Painting from Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence, as well as a Bachelors Degree in Design. Tell us a little something about your business...
For over five years, I have worked in Florence, Italy as a Professor of Art specializing in Drawing & Painting Techniques, Fresco, and Sculpture. Recently, I decided to open my own studio offering online art workshops, this allows me to work with students from all around the world. Having my own studio allows me the freedom to work with different art techniques, and develop programs that help my students improve their skills and keep their artistic identity. At the same time, I am creating and exhibiting my own art.
When was your lightbulb moment?
Opening up my studio was a natural progression for me. As a professional, with years of academic studies, I always wanted to create art programs that I find more effective to transmit my knowledge to others. The circumstances of 2020 showed me that it’s better to make a step forward and utilize this time to focus on creating my own business.
What are your three words of advice?
Discover your values and try to live life in a way that looking back you have no regrets. Love people and trust in yourself and remember that everything is temporary.
