Tell us a little something about your business...

Social Good Promotions was founded in 2019 as a social enterprise hell-bent on making a difference in the world.  Our tagline “Purpose Driven Branding” connects with our mantra, Connecting Commerce with Purpose to Tell the Story of Your Brand. We are fervent believers in the exploding desire for businesses to demonstrate what it is they stand for. Our goal is to help bring alignment to your messaging and your values so your prospects, clients, and employees can identify with your brand in an emotional and meaningful way.

When was your lightbulb moment?

I am co-founder of a movement named PromoCares that started in 2018. The objective of the movement is to lift up and recognize businesses using what they do for a living as a superpower for social good. As part of those efforts, I hosted a twice-monthly podcast, entitled PromoCares Radio, where we interviewed business owners about their efforts and the ways aligning on the concept of purpose has been of benefit to their business success. At the end of 2018, I dissected over 9 hours of content into overarching themes and recast those discussions as individual episodes. What I learned in that process was nothing short of amazing. Business owners using this strategy report better sales results, more loyal employees, an easier to identify prospect list and personal satisfaction for most everyone. I was compelled to start Social Good Promotions as a direct result of those podcast interviews and what I learned in the process.

What are your three words of advice?

Get in Alignment.
It’s that simple.
These are difficult, complicated, challenging times and people have a burning desire to really trust the companies with which they’re spending money. If you don’t find alignment it’s not a death-knell for your company, but if you’re competing against others that ARE in alignment, it’s reasonable to expect they will outperform you in the marketplace.
