After getting a double major in Chinese Studies and Economics from the University of Victoria in British Columbia, Canada, in 1995, I moved to China and worked as a contracted diplomat, project developer in the energy sector, and Vice President of an international boutique investment bank and earned an MBA along the way. In 2006 I moved back to Canada to work alongside my father as an investment advisor and helped over 500 Canadian families implement The Smith Manoeuvre.
