I’ve had opportunities to work in various industries such as Finance/Banking, Academe, and Tech/Telecom. I graduated with an organizational communication degree, advanced degree in PR, and spent at least 10 years in Corporate Communications and PR. I deviated from PR career when I was introduced to the world of finance and investing. I still use my Communications and PR background for my entrepreneurial and social consciousness pursuits such as myMBA.

After working in non-profits across Canada for 20 years, she shifted gears to complete her Yoga Teacher Training & Reiki Certifications in 2018. Working with various practitioners in personal & professional development, she created The Balanced Wellness Centre to support the health & wellbeing of the individual for the wellness of organizations as a whole.
