I’m an entrepreneur and storyteller. I earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and spent over 18 years working in Human Resources. After surviving a heart attack, I attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition to become a Holistic Health Practitioner. I also trained to become a Registered Yoga Teacher and Educator and started my own business, Firefly Community LLC. I published my first book, Pawsitive Perspectives, in 2024.

My love of art began in preschool when my mother signed me up for classes at the Tampa Museum of Art. Although I have had other careers, that love of art has never faded and I continued to develop my art skills via formal training and experimentation. Initially, the focus of my art was realism and impressionism. However, several years ago I made the switch over to abstract. I love life and try to enjoy each moment! Yes, we are still on our fertility journey, but we have a fabulous life with my step-daughter Mia, and our two dog’s, Harley and Daffidill. We live in Waterdown, close to hiking trails, so most weekends, you will catch us on a family hike. I am extremely competitive, so playing, or watching sports is a must. Board games are my absolute favourite way to hang out with friends. I have always loved entertaining, so pre-covid, we always had a dinner party or wine and cheese nights going on.
