Tell us a little something about your business...
As a global leader with an actuarial, consulting and business background, I created ‘Health at Work’ collaborations, and founded wellBe consulting. Advising healthcare and wellbeing companies to pinpoint and address unmet needs, crafting and rolling out impactful solutions that yield measurable and relevant benefits for employees and employers. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in formulating and applying protective measures for employees, I’ve noticed that many health and benefits providers fall short in preemptively tackling health risks or convincingly showing how their interventions enhance health, wellbeing, and performance.
My approach promotes a culture of compassion, trust, and meaningful impact, emphasizing the importance of diverse skills and perspectives over traditional views of cultural heritage and disabilities.
My aim remains to enrich lives through impactful, measurable, and accessible health and wellness programs in the corporate sector.
When was your lightbulb moment?
About two years ago, I faced a professional disconnect. While meeting performance expectations and rebuilding global teams, I felt drained. This was a wake-up call—a mid-life awakening.
This realization made me rethink what truly matters.
The awakening spurred me into action:
First, I knew I could pay forward with my time, expertise and actionable knowledge.
I joined Trekking for Kids expedition, visiting impoverished places where kids need helping hands to get access to love, food, home, education and health.
Then, Starting with facts, recognizing that more than 80% of medical claims are driven by 20% of the population who are ill. When illness strikes, one’s value at work often shifts. What have I done? I created ‘Health at Work,’ a tool empowering employees to advocate for their own health. This initiative showcases the power of collaboration with healthcare and industry leaders, utilizing data-driven insights.
Then, I launched wellBe consulting, advising companies on providing meaningful solutions for employee health and mental fitness.
Then, I joined and recently completed a yearlong venture with the Harvard Medical School Global Healthcare Leaders, forming lasting friendships and creating an integrated mind-body care model for women’s health.
What are your three words of advice?
Purpose,
Intentions &
Action
Let’s talk about purpose, intention and action in our professional lives. Have you considered the power of matchmaking in your career?
Reflect for a moment: do your daily actions resonate with your deepest values and purposes? Are you in a workplace that truly values and integrates your ideals? If not, imagine the possibilities if this were to change. When we are valued and given the space to innovate, magic unfolds. As a leader, I advocate for aligning the values, aspirations, and strengths of team members to foster mutual growth, trust, and success. Far too often, merely ticking off skills from a list can stifle careers, especially for those of us who strive to “expand the box” rather than just thinking outside it. Embracing this forward-thinking approach can magnify our capacity to pursue our core mission, driving innovative and sustainable growth through strong, value-aligned relationships.
Moving from advocacy into action.
Why have I created ‘Health at Work’ collaborations? A dual purpose: empowering individual health advocacy and fostering healthier, sustainable corporations—I’d love to hear how you are contributing to enhance health and wellbeing. ✨
