Tell us a little something about your business...
I’m organizing a women’s retreat in beautiful Sauble Beach Log Cottage April 24-26th /2020. It will be an all inclusive retreat filled with self-development classes, yoga, meditations, reiki, crystals, reading, incense, live musicians, accommodations and delicious food.
When was your lightbulb moment?
This idea came to me after I attended an amazing women’s retreat in Kingston ON and learned so much personally as well as connected with amazing women who were very supportive and uplifting. I realized that women are very powerful when it comes to helping other women grow and that retreats are a great way for women to get away for a short amount of time to take care of ourselves.
What are your three words of advice?
self-care – this does not happen very often since women usually take care of everyone else first however this is vital in being able to take care of others since we need to fill our cup first before filling everyone else’s.
self-development- this is important for our mental health and creates personal growth.
wellness- this is a big category and includes many subcategories such as mental, physical, spiritual, emotional, financial ect. It’s important to work on all these subcategories.
Three words of advice...
take CARE of yourself, take TIME out for yourself, work on STRESS because it impacts your wellbeing.
