When was your lightbulb moment?
The lightbulb moment here was the realization that by blending and uniting all of the seasoned suppliers and entrepreneurs we had worked with over the years we were providing foodpreneurs with support while leading to exciting and marketable food concepts. We wanted to reduce people’s stress but also have those with experience remove the many pain points entrepreneurs experience as they develop their food and beverage businesses.
What are your three words of advice?
Workplace anxieties are common and can be quite limiting. These often appear as fears of failing, being rejected, or not living up to expectations. Such fears can hold us back from reaching our full potential.
Leaders play a crucial role in shaping a healthy workplace environment. When leaders are open about their own fears and vulnerabilities, they come across as more genuine. This honesty helps build trust and respect within their teams.
Fear, when approached positively, can be a catalyst for innovation. Stepping outside of our comfort zones can be challenging, but it’s essential for growth. By doing so, we unlock new ideas and opportunities to drive innovation.
Understanding workplace fear has been important to me as it shows up for us all especially those of us in smaller entrepreneurial endeavors. When you feel you are not moving forward, checking on the fear that might be holding you back understanding it can often permit you to move forward.
