I’ve had opportunities to work in various industries such as Finance/Banking, Academe, and Tech/Telecom. I graduated with an organizational communication degree, advanced degree in PR, and spent at least 10 years in Corporate Communications and PR. I deviated from PR career when I was introduced to the world of finance and investing. I still use my Communications and PR background for my entrepreneurial and social consciousness pursuits such as myMBA.

The original Wellness Broker, Lauren founded The Balanced Wellness Centre in 2019. After working in non-profits across Canada for 20 years, she shifted gears to complete her Yoga Teacher Training & Reiki Certifications in 2018. Working with various practitioners in personal & professional development, she created The Balanced Wellness Centre to support the health & wellbeing of the individual for the wellness of organizations as a whole.
